Pada 3 Mei 2026, KOPETRO telah menghadiri Program MAIPs Peduli yang berlangsung di Masjid Al- A’la Behor Temak, Kangar, Perlis. Program MAIPs Peduli merupakan inisiatif kebajikan oleh Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs) yang memberi tumpuan kepada bantuan dan santunan kepada golongan asnaf serta masyarakat yang memerlukan di seluruh negeri Perlis.
Program ini dilaksanakan melalui pelbagai aktiviti kemasyarakatan termasuk lawatan ke rumah asnaf, agihan sumbangan zakat, saringan kesihatan serta kerjasama bersama agensi kerajaan, institusi pendidikan dan komuniti setempat.
Program ini turut berperanan dalam memperkukuh hubungan antara MAIPs dan masyarakat melalui pendekatan turun padang, di samping menyemai nilai keprihatinan sosial dan semangat kebersamaan dalam komuniti.
Turut berangkat hadir ialah Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, Raja Muda Perlis. Delegasi KOPETRO pula diketuai oleh Tuan Haji Ahmad Nizam Abdul Latif, Pengerusi KOPETRO, bersama Encik Ahmad Husaini Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, serta Encik Mohd Safwan Zulmani, Ketua Pegawai Operasi.
On 3 May 2026, KOPETRO attended the MAIPs Peduli Program held at Masjid Al-A’la Behor Temak, Kangar, Perlis.
The MAIPs Peduli Program is a welfare initiative by the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs), focusing on providing assistance and support to asnaf groups and communities in need throughout the state of Perlis.
The programme was carried out through various community-based activities, including visits to asnaf families, zakat contribution distributions, health screenings, and collaborations with government agencies, educational institutions, and local communities.
The programme also serves to strengthen the relationship between MAIPs and the community through a grassroots engagement approach, while fostering values of social care and community spirit.
Also in attendance was His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, the Raja Muda of Perlis. The KOPETRO delegation was led by Tuan Haji Ahmad Nizam Abdul Latif, Chairman of KOPETRO, accompanied by Encik Ahmad Husaini Hassan, Chief Executive Officer, and Encik Mohd Safwan Zulmani, Chief Operating Officer.
