Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) was established in 30th October 1980. Allocated with RM 10,000 and a team seconded by PETRONAS Personnel Department, KOPETRO were tasked to begin and maintain a cooperative that provides financial aids to its members. KOPETRO now is one of the Top 10 Cooperatives amongst more than 14,000 cooperatives in Malaysia.

Over the years, we have accumulated awards such as Anugerah Koperasi Negara, Prime Minister Quality Award, PETRONAS Outstanding Vendor Award (OVA), Top Insurance Agency Award, MAS/Emirates Achievement Award, Intellectual Property Gold Award, MYIPO Award, Lang International Corporate Titan Awards and The Brandlaureate SMEs Bestbrands e-Branding Awards 2020.
